Nabsovet "Ukrnafta" received a new chapter: what happened
Yuriy Vitrenko, executive director of NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy, was elected head of the Ukrnafta Supervisory Board.
The decision was taken by the Supervisory Board of the country's largest oil and gas company on Thursday, April 11, documents published on the Ukrnafta website indicate.
At a meeting on March 28, the company's shareholders early terminated the powers of the chairman of the board Mark Rollins.

He will leave the post of the head of Ukrnafta on April 30 of this year. From May 1 until the election of a new head, Oleg Gez will fulfill his duties.
At the same time, the shareholders of Ukrnafta changed the composition of the Supervisory Board and transferred to it the authority to appoint and dismiss the chairman of the board.
Prior to this, only minority shareholders of Ukrnafta – Privat group could do this in the framework of a shareholder agreement.
As reported by careersatglatfelter.com, earlier the Cabinet of Ministers gave the shareholders' meeting the authority to elect and dismiss the chairman and members of the board of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” without the representation of the Supervisory Board.
The government introduced the corresponding changes to the charter of the national joint-stock company by Decree No. 226 of March 6, 2019.
